Baxter of 16 Cockspur Street, London, having a hinged lid with brass handle, opening to reveal a "Brammar" lock (no key), fitted black morocco interior with a lift out tray, with 2 small lidded boxes. Together with 3 morocco bound note books (unused), gilt titles: "Personal Expenses" ; "Cash Account" ; and "House Expenses"; plus a miniature (finger shaped) "Condensed 1883 Diary" (used) and gold coloured propelling pencil (Perry & Co. Patent) , all in their own purpose made slots. Interior very clean. Polished exterior with a numerous small scuffs and dinks. 7.0" x 5.0" x 4.0" [17.5cm x 13.5cm x 10.5cm] .
