Printed title page with large printer's cut: "Alma Mater Canta-Brigia". Title-page with numerous early ink doodles, lightly soiled, small edge tears, and with loss to top corner (not affecting text). Verso of title with: "To the Christian Reader." Ends with initials W. P. Followed by 5 leaves: "The Contents." Clear English text in paragraphs, marginal references, and good margins. 4 plates present (I think 2 plates are absent). Paper lightly toned, with a few marginal chips and tears. Previous owner's details ( Arthur Greenwollers, Bickerton, Cheshire (one dated 1727); and John Pearson, Bickerton, Cheshire ) to the back of one folding plate (as well as the verso of the front board and rear endopapers.
