A lovely pocket bible in a full leather binding, with a dulled fore-edge painting of a river scene. 12mo. 4.75" x 2.75" x 1.50" (12cm x 7cm x 3.5cm). Crimson straight grained morocco with dulled gilt border. Spine with 3 raised bands, gilt decorated compartments and gilt titles: "Holy Bible" and "London 1814". All page edges gilt, which extened reveal a coloured river scene. Separate title-page at the beginning of the New Testament. Clean English text throughout in double coloumns. VG
