First edition. A very good tight binding, carefully re-backed preserving the original spine. 9.75" x 7.25" x 1.00" . pp.18/pp.421/[1p.] . Pale green cloth covered boards with gilt titles to both the front board and spine. Boards lightly soiled and edges lightly rubbed and bumped, but titles bright and binding tight. Previous booksellers gold label to front endpaper: "Helios Books, 2 High Street, Somerset..." Clean contents. Portrait frontis (Dr. Annie Besant), and numerous illustrations and tables throughout. Colophon on last leaf: "Printed by J. R. Aria, at the Vasanta Press, Adyar, Madras." A very good copy of this scarce publication. VG .
